Smart Wallet and DeFi Project Holdstation Joins Chainlink BUILD
We’re excited to announce that Holdstation is officially joining the Chainlink BUILD program. As a part of BUILD, we aim to accelerate ecosystem growth and long-term adoption of wallets with embedded Account Abstraction and dApp functionality by gaining enhanced access to Chainlink’s industry-leading oracle services and technical support, as well as incentivizing greater cryptoeconomics security, in exchange for a commitment to provide network fees and other benefits to the Chainlink community and service providers, including stakers.
Our participation in BUILD provides priority support from the Chainlink ecosystem and stronger incentive alignment between the Chainlink and Holdstation communities.
We’re confident that through enhanced support, secure off-chain services, and the backing of Chainlink’s vibrant community, we can accelerate awareness of Holdstation and realize the adoption of next-generation wallet technology that makes it easier and safer for Web3 users to navigate the blockchain ecosystem.
Holdstation: Onboarding the Web2 CFD Market to Web3
As a pioneer in both DeFi and wallet technology, Holdstation’s mission is to onboard the millions of traders (and associated trillions of dollars) in the future (also known as CFD) market that exists in Web2 into the Web3 ecosystem by streamlining their Web3 onboarding experience.
To do so, Holdstation offers a cutting-edge smart contract wallet solution with an embedded futures trading app on the zkSync Era blockchain. With its native adoption of wallet account abstraction, the Holdstation wallet offers gas-free transactions, a secure social login that abstracts away private keys, and a fully functional DeFi futures application where users can trade with leverage.
Why We Joined Chainlink BUILD
Holdstation joined BUILD to maximize the benefits of security and reliability that Chainlink’s oracle infrastructure provides. As part of BUILD, Holdstation will receive key benefits, including access to and integration of Chainlink Price Feeds for high-quality, decentralized market data and CCIP to help enable a future cross-chain liquidation protector, as well as access to new Chainlink product alpha and beta releases, among other benefits.
In exchange for these services, Holdstation will make 4% of its native token supply available to Chainlink service providers, including stakers, over time. These mutually aligned economic incentives enable both communities to support one another.
